2012 SCAD Symposium The fourth edition of the Conference on Sustainable Construction and Design took place on 13/02/2012 at Het Pand, Gent. Similar to the 2010 edition, the 2012 edition was a smaller symposium that focused on achievements of master thesis students. Selected papers were published in the open access journal 'Sustainable Construction and Design' (ISSN: 2032-7471).

2011 SCAD Conference The third edition of the Conference on Sustainable Construction and Design took place on 16-17/02/2011. This event was partially organised at the Laboratory Soete and partially at the Monasterium Poortackere, connecting about 200 attendants. On the first day, the so-called 'Day of research' the master engineering students of our department made a succesfull contribution with a presentation about the progression made during their master thesis. The second day was mainly attributed to academics and industrials. Selected contributions were published in the open access journal 'Sustainable Construction and Design' (ISSN: 2032-7471).

2010 On 10/02/2010 the second edition of the Conference on Sustainable Construction and Design, then called the 'Day of Research', was organised at the Laboratory Soete. This successful edition had about 100 attendants, connecting master engineering students, academics and industrials. All contributions were published in a special issue of the open access journal 'Sustainable Construction and Design' (ISSN: 2032-7471).
